Beach Buns Cafe & Bakery sits right by the shore in Klaeng District, offering a laid-back spot where locals and visitors alike come to enjoy breakfast and brunch with a sea breeze. Unlike busier cafes inland, this place feels unhurried and cozy, perfect for starting the day with fresh baked goods and simple, well-prepared breakfast staples.

The menu is focused and approachable — highlights like the salmon bagel with cream cheese and classic bacon and eggs anchor the offering, appealing to those who appreciate straightforward but satisfying morning meals. Coffee here is treated with care, and the casual set-up, featuring both indoor and breezy outdoor seating facing the beach, means you can linger over your cup while watching the waves.

Visitors tend to come mid-morning to late morning, soaking in the gentle light of the seaside atmosphere. The crowd is a mix of relaxed locals who know it’s a dependable weekend brunch spot, along with travelers looking for a quiet break from the usual tourist track. The staff’s friendly, approachable manner adds to the easygoing vibe—there’s a genuine effort behind the decor and baked goods, reflecting local care rather than polished commercial flair.

Beyond just breakfast, Beach Buns feels connected to the nearby bar, sharing ownership but staying true to its casual, daylight-only appeal. This connection creates a nice balance if you want to eventually shift to evening drinks nearby. The café’s location just off the main road means it’s a little tucked away but accessible, making it a pleasant stop after a morning at the beach or before exploring the southern parts of Rayong.

In short, Beach Buns is best for those who like to savor small, quality breakfasts by the water without the busy crowds. It suits anyone who values a relaxed pace and a seaside view paired with classic breakfast options done well. Morning light and lighter tides set a nice backdrop for a calm and friendly start to the day here.

This is a good restaurant for a brunch in front of the beach. I got a Benedict egg that was good, even though the sauce was not correct. Got also a smoked salmon and an orange juice.

This is connected to the bar next door they are owned by the same company, but they don’t have the same menu. Loved it here and the beach was gorgeous and staff was nice

Super cute cafe, with lots of baked goods. Loved the vibe and how nicely decorated it was, can see a lot of love and care has been put into the place. We had majority of our breakfasted here - highly recommended.

What a find! Tucked away from the Main Street in Lae Mae Pimh you’ll find this cozy little beach front bakery / breakfast joint offering a select menu of only the good stuff! I had the English Breakfast complete with all the trimmings. We also had eggs on toast with a side of bacon plus the waffles with fruit. So good! And couldn’t help but get a few choc chip cookies on the way out. A must do. Then, grab a beer and tacos next door at Drift, it’d be rude not to!!

One of the best English breakfasts available in Thailand. They had the best black pudding ever. Great breakfast and coffee. If in Rayong, make sure you stop in for a feed.

Just had the most amazing time at Beach Buns! The salmon bagel was legit – super fresh, and the bakery treats were homemade heaven. And don't even get me started on the egg Benedict – it was the bomb! The vibes and grub at Beach Buns are top-notch. Can't wait to be back for more brunch vibes!"

Little cafe next to Bali resort on the main Mae Phim beach road. Small menu serving breakfast (Western Style), no Thai food menu, and selection of cakes. Had the English breakfast which was very good compared to what I have had elsewhere. Can get a 5 baht rebate on drinks if you bring your own cup.
